Monteray Farms is a Maryland-based florist specializing in weddings and events. For over 30 years, Monteray Farms has offered personalized service and beautiful floral arrangements designed locally from their family farm.
When Monteray Farms refreshed their brand in 2020, they reached out to us to redesign their website to be more in line with their updated branding. To be cohesive with their new branding, the new site needed to be elegant, minimal and supported by stunning photos and hand-drawn visual elements throughout.
To match Monteray Farms’ new branding, we needed the new website site to keep their elegant, minimal look without coming across as simple or understated. To achieve this, we employed a number of techniques such as emphasized typography, illustrative embellishments and gorgeous examples of their work throughout. Every page was then optimized to strategically deliver content in a persuasive, helpful, and user-friendly format all aligned with the unique personality of their brand. The result is an effective online sales tool that embodies the Monteray Farms brand.
Get a Quote Quickly and Easily
Our goal for the ‘Get a Quote’ page was to give visitors direct access to take action without the pain of back-and-forth emails as well as set a clear expectation of what comes next. The result is a comprehensive page with descriptive next steps, a user friendly quote form, and a smoother sales process.
Full Screen Work Samples
To showcase their impressive work samples, we included full screen photo galleries for each service page allowing visitors to view their photos in beautiful HD and even share each photo on social media via the viewer toolbar.
Monteray Farms uses a number of hand-drawn illustrations in their new branding which we creatively incorporated throughout the site in the footer, mobile menu, and more. We strategically used the black & white palette in contrast to their striking color photography to highlight their work and the gorgeous arrangements they create.
Animated Nav Menu
The client asked if there was a way to include both the full-text version of their logo as well as the more condensed monogram version. We love a challenge so we got to work finding a solution. The result is an animated menu bar that loads featuring the full-text logo and shrinks as visitors scroll down the page transforming into the condensed monogram version in a user-friendly sticky nav menu.
