Talbot County is a beautiful Maryland county located in the heart of the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. It is known for its historic sites and landmarks, vibrant arts scene, and nature preserves and parks. The Talbot County Office of Tourism approached us to redesign their website with an emphasis on reaching a broad range of visitors and highlighting the unique attractions and experiences that Talbot County has to offer.
The research phase of the project built on a wealth of data from the client and usage statistics due to our agency having built their previous website. We sought to understand the types of visitors that Talbot County attracts and what they are looking for in a tourism website. As a result, we were able to identify key patterns and insights that we used to inform the design and development of the new website. This ensured that the website would be tailored to meet the needs and expectations of Talbot County’s diverse audience, while also providing an engaging and intuitive experience for all visitors.
